At Go Together, we believe in creating the connections that drive meaningful change. Our work spans training, research, and community development to encourage individuals, organisations, and communities to collaborate effectively, build resilience, and address complex social change.
We collaborate with organisations and their teams with tools and practices for relational work that builds community power and collaborative systems leadership. Through tailored training and consultancy services, we help you navigate challenges, strengthen relationships, and drive sustainable systems change.
We champion participatory research that centers on the voices of those most impacted by social issues. By fostering continuous learning and adaptive strategies, we deliver insights that inform transformative action. From storytelling to power dynamics, our innovative approaches inspire new ways to tackle systemic inequities.
At the heart of our work is a commitment to communities. We support local groups in creating healing spaces and healing communities through building trust, and fostering collaboration. By harnessing a strength based approach built on 'Asset Based Community Development' practices we seek to address community power and amplify the voices of citizens. We also support organisations and community to influence radical shift in the public sector from ‘doing to’ to ‘doing with’.
Together, we build the foundation for lasting change, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
Community-based approaches play a vital role in addressing mental health challenges, particularly in the aftermath of collective trauma. Many individuals find healing through social connections and cultural practices rather than formal services, emphasising the transformative power of strong communities. Stress and anxiety levels have risen significantly due to societal instability, such as pandemics and economic uncertainties, affecting both adults and children. A place-based strategy that prioritises resilience through relationships, trust-building and trauma-informed practices can foster supportive, equitable and cohesive environments. Collaborative networks and anchor organisations are crucial in catalysing action to prevent trauma, rebuild trust and support recovery, paving the way for meaningful systemic change.
